Item UMA ANÁLISE MULTIDIMENSIONAL DA POBREZA NO ESTADO DO MARANHÃO NOS ANOS 2000 E 2010: construção do Índice de Pobreza Municipal para o Maranhão (IPMM)(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2013-05-16) Nascimento, Talita de Sousa; SILVA, Maria Ozanira da Silva e; CPF:12534544349; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1435259707895948; Lima, Valéria Ferreira Santos de Almada; CPF:20765142368; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7758192020816194Multidimensional analysis of poverty in the state of Maranhão. The data source is the Census of 2000 and 2010. In order to further investigate the phenomenon, we proceeded to the elaboration of an indicator called multidimensional Municipal Poverty Index for Maranhão (IPMM). First, we proceeded to the survey of the main explanatory approaches of the phenomenon of poverty and the main forms of measurement. It was then decided by multidimensional approach to poverty measurement purposes of the phenomenon, but without compromising the structural approach to understand their decisions and ways of overcoming. We decided to choose a multidimensional indicator due to the fact that it takes into account a larger number of indicators. Then, we described the methodology of the Index and the results have been described for both the index and for the six dimensions that comprise it. The main conclusions that came with the construction of IPMM were: a) there was a reduction in poverty both in the state of Maranhão as in all other cities, as we compare the years 2000 and 2010, b) the performance of municipalities was not homogeneous, c) the degree of poverty seems to be more intense at the municipal level than at state d) the most advanced dimensions were: access to the knowledge, child development and housing needs, whereas the least advanced were: access to work and lack of resources. Thus, the evolution of poverty in the municipalities of Maranhão in the first decade of the 2000s was not the result of endogenous factors to the growth pattern exhibited by the economy of Maranhão in this period.Item “Assédio nosso de cada dia”: análise do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Maranhão a partir das relações de gênero no trabalho(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2021-09-21) RODRIGUES, Karoline Parrião; ROCHA, Lourdes de Maria Leitão Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7295015708722425; ROCHA, Lourdes de Maria Leitão Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7295015708722425; FERREIRA, Maria Mary; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1813463162883226; PINTO, Neuzeli Maria de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2589208712209940; DIAS, Marly de Jesus Sá; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0576152814937497Harassment in women's labor relations is the object of study in this dissertation, which addresses it as violence at work and through the work, under the strong influence of gender inequalities. The research was carried out with female employees from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA), aiming to identify the configurations of harassment experienced by them in the work environment, its implications, as well as the ways of dealing with this violence, both by the victims and also by the Institution. So, the methodological path was guided by dialectical historical materialist method, as a basis for investigation and analysis, from which we can highlight these central categories: work, gender, violence and harassment. The investigation has a predominantly qualitative character, although it also has a quantitative data source, constituted by means of bibliographic and documental research that subsidized the analysis of the data collected in the field research, which was done by applying online questionnaires to 190 female employees from 28 campuses and the rectory. Based on theoretical ground, harassment was identified as a reconfiguration of violence at work, seeing that mechanisms of violence are used against workers since the most remote times. It so happens that the capitalist system, under the current neoliberal orientation, adopts work management strategies that encourage disputes, conflicts, competitiveness, individualism, struggle for places, resulting the weakening of the ties between workers. That fact is confirmed by the research data when it reveals that the moral harassment has been practiced mostly by men gender, causing often irreversible implications to the victims physical and mental health. Barriers were observed to confronting harassment by the workers who, for the most part, are not able to formalize complaints, but also by the institution, that usually adopts timid measures, considering the seriousness of that. It is also noteworthy that, despite jurisprudence and some legal provisions against harassment, Brazil still does not have a specific legislation to combat that type of violence, excepting to sexual harassment – briefly inserted into the Brazilian Criminal Code. Productive restructuring, under the neoliberal flexibilization bias, added to the strong patriarchal heritage that feeds gender inequalities, drive insecure and violent labor relationships, which is a fertile ground to the practice of moral and sexual harassment, with the State being co-responsible for its existence and reproduction. For that reason, this research has great relevance not only to IFMA, but also to several subjects, institutions, organizations and movements that experience the complexity of such violence resulting from gender inequalities, and it may contribute to its confrontation.Item A ATUAÇÃO DO JUDICIÁRIO TRABALHISTA E A PRECARIZAÇÃO DO TRABALHO: as decisões do TST e TRT do Maranhão e sua relação com a terceirização e flexibilização do trabalho(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2008-06-27) Arruda, Kátia Magalhães; LOPES, Josefa Batista; CPF:02749530300The Judicial Power and the precarization of labor. Reflection of judicial decisions in social life has not been approached with the importance the matter requires, especially where the relations resulting from the conflicts between capital and work are concerned. The purpose of this paper is to draw the attention to decisions made by the Labour Federal High Court and the Regional Labour Court in Maranhão relative to precarious labour in Brazil, with emphasis on aspects such as contracting out, flexibilization of rights, poor health and hygienic conditions of workers and degrading work, which, sometimes, reaches the boundaries of slavery. The judicial posture adopted by the Labour Justice seeks to strike a balance between protecting the worker and preserving the company. Considering that the Judicial Power is part of the capitalist State, accomplishing that goal is questionable. In despite of that, the Labour Justice has developed and established itself as the branch of the Judiciary closest to social issues, not only when it plays the role of a mediator between individual and collective conflicts, but also when it, through its judges, prevents the fraud to the employment protection legislation. It can be concluded that the decisions of the Judicial Power based on constitutional principles and rules of employment protection and dignity of human being contribute to the effectiviness of labour rights.Item Avaliação do processo de implementação do Programa Escola Digna: colaboração federativa na política educacional no Maranhão(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2022-09-28) LUSTOSA, Lucas Guimaraes; SOUSA, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954; SOUSA, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954; SANTANA, Raimunda Nonata do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8568319609673948; BARBOSA, Zulene Muniz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7487645099144590; LIMA, Cristiana Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2505039602134305This paper evaluate the implementation process of the Escola Digna Program, of the State of Maranhão, undertaking in the field of management and decision-making of the policy among the benefited municipalities. The objective of the research that supported the Dissertation was to analyze the Program and identify the successes and obstacles in the operationalized forms of organization and management, considering the hierarchical and decision-making structure and the levels of federative members involved. Historically the country, has duality and political centralization as main characteristics, even when there is partial decentralization at the administrative level. The Escola Digna Program proposes to break with this logic, initiating the process of reversing the social asymmetries consolidated in Maranhão, on the one hand seeking to include a greater number of students in good quality schools and, on the other, reinforcing participatory decentralization as operational principle, seeking to adapting the state to new challenges caused by the capitalism.Item Casa verde amarela: uma avaliação política do Programa(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2023-08-04) RAMOS, José Ramiro Esteves; PEREIRA, Maria Eunice Ferreira Damasceno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4770414667943660; PEREIRA, Maria Eunice Ferreira Damasceno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4770414667943660; SILVA, Carla Cecilia Serrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7165971512340739; LIMA, Cristiana Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2505039602134305The present study proposes to carry out a political evaluation of the Casa Verde Amarela Program, the main action of the Brazilian housing policy implemented between the years 2020 and 2022, analyzing its theoretical assumptions and the principles that underlie it; the social subjects and interests involved in its formulation; and its potential to face the problem of decent housing in Brazil. The research is based on bibliography and documents, with a qualitative approach, with a critical perspective, using the method of historical-dialectical materialism. The assessment is based on the principle that housing is a social right to be ensured by the State, as provided for in the Federal Constitution, interpreting the Brazilian housing problem as a reflection of the social issue that manifests itself as a consequence of the capitalist model of production under conditions of national socio-historical formation, so that it affects the most impoverished segments of society more acutely. As a result, it is pointed out that the Casa Verde Amarela Program has little effectiveness in combating the housing problem in the country, and it does not promote the confrontation of the structuring issues that originate the problem. In relation to the social subjects and the interests involved in the formulation of the program, the reaffirmation of the historical tendency of satisfying the interests of Capital to the detriment of the guarantee of social rights can be seen, since the segments that had a preponderant influence in the formulation of the Program were mainly those linked to financial capital. Thus, Casa Verde Amarela tends to deepen the commodification and financialization of housing, accentuating the trend of accumulation by dispossession under neoliberal capitalism.Item COOPERATIVISMO NOS PROCESSOS DE ORGANIZAÇÃO POLÍTICA E ECONÔMICA DOS TRABALHADORES NA LUTA CONTRA A EXPROPRIAÇÃO CAPITALISTA NO CAMPO: a resistência do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra no Maranhão(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2014-05-27) TORREÃO, Marlene Corrêa; ABREU, Marina Maciel; CPF:12542334This is a study on cooperativism in the current economic and political organization of workers, having as reference the resistance waged by the MST in Maranhão. The historical background of the study is disclosed, presenting the cooperativism as a contradictory tool on the workers struggling process, to the extent that its determinants present two perspectives: one used in the free market idealistic proposals presenting a political and ideological dimension that meet capitalist interests, being currently updated in the processes of flexibilization work; the other, expresses an alternative of resistance and struggle of the workers, which might be an important tool in the context of social struggles, if it is consciously constituted. A historical recovery of cooperativism, is also carried out, as one of the models of agricultural cooperation organized by the MST since the 1980s, when there was an intense worsening of the agrarian question due to the advancement of capitalism in the countryside. The study considers the cooperativism as a major instrument of political and economic organization for farmers, even though in Maranhão this initiative has shown weakness in relation to the economic return to the cooperative members. The main limits pointed out by the leaders in the production sector of the movement, have been: technical and managerial difficulties, lack of production technologies, as well as little support given by the State through public policies that generally follow the logic of the current agricultural policy, allowing the landowner to be the major beneficiary of public funds. The study identifies that somehow, politically, the cooperativism has contributed to the process of resistance within the MST, provided that it has led to the formation of new concepts about the organization of production and labor relations, even though this strategy is posed in a contradictory way.Item Desafios e possibilidades da política de formação de professores e professoras do campo: a experiência da Licenciatura em Educação do Campo da UFMA(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2022-06-07) LOPES, Safira Rego; CAVALCANTI, Cacilda Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2817952441255593; CAVALCANTI, Cacilda Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2817952441255593; LIMA, Cristiana Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2505039602134305; MOURA, Terciana Vidal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1217577279235372The present work has as object of study the Degree in Field Education at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). Its goal is to analyze the process of implementation of the course having as a parameter the educational principles listed in its Political-Pedagogical Project, which are based on the concept of field education elaborated from the field education movement. To this end, the investigation is guided by the dialectical historical materialism, which allows us to analyze this policy as part of a dialectical and contradictory totality, seeking to understand it in the context of a class society. The methodological procedures used were documentary research and semi-structured interviews with teachers and the articulating team of the course at the University. The data analysis was performed using the content analysis technique, referenced by Bardin (1977). The policy to train field educators is part of a counter-hegemonic project and is built from the dynamics of the class struggle that is inserted in the capitalist State, taking advantage of its fissures and contradictions. To understand this dynamic between State and civil society that crosses the composition of field education policies, we refer mainly to the works of Poulantzas (2015) and Gramsci (2020). As for the history and the foundations of field education, as well as for the analysis of the struggles for the formation of field educators, we resorted to authors such as Caldart (2003, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2011), Molina (2010, 2012, 2015, 2017), Molina and Antunes-Rocha (2014), Santos (2012), among others. On the configuration of public policies we used Arretche (2001) and Draibe (2001). In our empirical research, we took as a basis the Political Pedagogical Project of the Degree in Field Education of the Federal University of Maranhão (2014a, 2014b) from which we extracted the guiding principles of the analysis of its implementation. This project is based on a conception of field education originated in the struggles of peasant movements and defends a society that overcomes the division of classes, social inequalities, and the dichotomies between countryside and city, and especially the educational dichotomies, where there is a separation between intellectual and technical training, having labor as the educational principle. The results indicate that the Degree in Field Education at UFMA faces several tensions in order to consolidate itself in the university space as a course whose training points to a new human and societal referential, where the field is freed from the different fences that cross it: whether those of the latifundium or those of knowledge. Tensions that range from the moment of implementation with confrontations between the course management and the administrative structure of UFMA and that also go through internally divergent conceptions about the meaning of the formation of rural educators. Item O DIREITO AO TRABALHO DECENTE : sonho ou realidade?(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2012-02-16) Monaco, Luigi Lo; GONÇALVES, Claudia Maria da Costa; CPF:33647175304; Sousa, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; CPF:04491920320; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954The thesis we have developed is focused on the right to work "decent." This is a research and ethical reflection on the threat of economic "globalization" in Brazil. The right to work and work "decent" is situated in the larger context of human rights, the evolution of labor law and the current economic situation. The text prepared reports on the rise of the bourgeoisie and the capitalist exploitation of workers, since modernity, emphasizes the limits and the positive aspects of liberal constitutions and Brazilian constitutions since 1824 until 1988, stresses the importance of workers' struggles to defend the dignity of workers and their rights. The main hypothesis formulated by the author, who supervised the research, is that the new economic context of economic "globalization" of neoliberalism and social rights and the right to work "decent" are increasingly threatened. Hence the need to defend these rights resisting the process of deterioration of labor relations and setting, from ethical references, a schedule of minimum goals to be achieved in the near future.Item DO CANTO DE SEREIA AO PRESENTE GREGO: análise da responsabilidade social empresarial da Vale a partir do Programa Ação Educação no Maranhão, no período de 2012-2014(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2015-06-12) Santos, Neuziane Sousa dos; SANT'ANA JÚNIOR, Horário Antunes de; CPF:30932149120; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5137817404959463Analyzes the Education Action Program funded by Vale S / A, in Maranhão, from 2012. It shows that the program is a Corporate Social Responsibility Action (CSR), which works in partnership system within the third sector . The Education Action comprises two actions: one directs to the training of managers of public schools in Açailândia the municipality and the other, intended for training of staff of the Secretariat of the Municipality of Bom Jesus jungles of Education. On the relationships established within that program, are speeches that apparently seem to be endowed action coherence and linearity and contradictory practices that deny speech. Wonders whether the speech and the practice of social responsibility of Vale, through its historical determinants. Therefore, to obtain results, we used authors who interpret CSR as an ideological process in order to interpret the CSR Valley as a reductive ideological strategy of socio-environmental conflicts in communities headquarters of the Education Action Programme, because of the unbridled search for profit of the company.Item Dumping social nas relações de trabalho: uma avaliação política da Política Pública de Tratamento Adequado das Disputas de Interesse(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2020-02-20) SILVA, Rodrigo Barbalho Desterro e; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; 336741753-04; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; LIMA, Valéria Ferreira Santos de Almada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7758192020816194; BARBOSA, Zulene Muniz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7487645099144590This dissertation has as its object the study of Brazilian Labor Justice Policy of Appropriate Treatment of Disputes of Interest, and its scope converges in the accomplishment of a political evaluation of the Policy, instituted by the Resolution 174, of 2016, of the Superior Council of Labor Justice, which incorporated institutional arrangements delimited by the National Council of Justice in earlier years through Resolution 125, of 2010. Adopts as its assumption the Contemporary Capitalist State Theory and its determinations of nature and space, and the contradictory and complex involvement with social dumping in labor relations, as a prior phenomenon derived from the relentless practice of violation and denial of labor rights in order to achieve a potential advantage over competition. The question its analyzed from a Marxian perspective, through the use of historical-dialectical materialism and, therefore, we examine the historical designs that gives meaning to the Policy formulations as a state intervention. Thus, we start from a bibliographical and documental research, in order to allow the analysis of documents and data related do the Policy and its formulation process. Thus, it asks whether or not the policy has a propensity for naturalization and legitimation of social dumping through a state regulation practices, unfavorable to worker’s interests. It reflects about the process of institution of conciliation as a policy based on social-historical rescue that analyzes the idea of class conciliation as a culture with reflexes in the Labor Judiciary. It investigates the subject, their interests and rationalities and the way they express them in the Policy formulation process, trying to verify their influence degree on the Policy itself. It analyzes the institutional design and the components of the Policy and encourages the rethinking of politics in order to overcome the violence against the working class.Item A EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E A POLÍTICA PÚBLICA MULHERES MIL: a implementação no âmbito do IFMA em São Luís(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2015-03-11) Silva, Tássia Mendes e; COSTA, Cândida da; CPF:27994859387; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8455814155563851This work intended to study public policy Thousand Women from the experience of the Federal Institute of Maranhão, São Luís, from 2009 to 2012, which was aimed at raising the educational level and the qualification of participants. It was an inclusive public policy, with a gender approach, geared to the provision of vocational training courses, which sought to provide women in vulnerable social conditions access to education, qualifications, employment and income through vocational training and citizen. This paper considered the historical inequalities faced by women in Brazilian society, particularly with regard to access to education, qualification and entry into the labor market. The research was of bibliographical and documentary evidence, to identify the key aspects in government discourse and verification of what happened in the concrete reality of the students of the courses. A theoretical review was carried out on the main categories present in this policy, such as education, professional training, citizenship, sustainable development, equity, work, public policy and gender. Was achieved as a result note that the actions taken in this policy achieved some objectives pursued without getting the complete success of its initial proposal, as the rise of education and the integration into the majority of the labor market of the students, although it was for some students important for raising the self-esteem, to return to their studies and to enter the job market.Item O ESTADO SOCIAL-LIBERAL BRASILEIRO E AS POLÍTICAS SOCIAIS DE SATISFAÇÃO DE NECESSIDADES FUNDAMENTAIS: análise da experiência brasileira de 2003 a 2016 com destaque para a política de saúde.(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2021-12-14) GOMES, Andrea Lemos; FARIAS, Flávio Bezerra de; FARIAS, Flávio Bezerra de; SANTOS, Salviana de Maria Pastor; SOARES, Danielle de Queiroz; ARAÚJO, Maria do Socorro Sousa de; RIBEIRO, Jeovana NunesThis paper discusses the category of need and how it is satisfied in capitalist society, focusing on the discussion of the forms and functions of the State and how it interferes in the process of satisfying needs. We start from the hypothesis that even developing some social policies to satisfy fundamental needs, the form of the Brazilian social liberal State, for having its nature committed to the palliative minimization of income inequalities, therefore not intervening in the essence of the process of contradictory totalization that has production through production as its core, it failed to fully satisfy the fundamental needs of the proletariat in the period 2003-2016. satisfaction of the fundamental needs of the proletariat in the period 2003-2016, with emphasis on the health policy, and to what extent these fully met its needs in the period analyzed. Then, a bibliographical research is carried out on the form of the postmodern State in its particularity and its distinct functions, as well as the form of the Brazilian social-liberal State and its functions in its singularity. Finally, it discusses the main needs satisfaction policies developed by the Brazilian social-liberal State, with emphasis on health policy, and it is concluded that despite the advances regarding the development of economic and social policies that contributed to reducing the enormous social inequality present in Brazilian society, these were insufficient to meet the needs of the proletariat in the period analyzed since the Brazilian State, inserted in the logic of the global state mode, and occupying a peripheral role within this model, could do little in an attempt to meet the multiple needs of the proletariat.Item UM ESTUDO DA POLÍTICA DE ATENÇÃO BÁSICA NO BRASIL: a particularidade da Estratégia Saúde da Família(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2015-03-05) Carreiro, Paula Katiana da Silva; DIAS, Marly de Jesus Sá; CPF:27044475353; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0576152814937497; Sousa, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; CPF:04491920320; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954The Family Health Strategy (FHS) is born as a program in 1994 and has the intention to change the current health care model based on the healing of diseases for those in which the prevention and health promotion is the main focus. The survey, entitled A Study of the Basic Policy Attention in Brazil: the particularity of the Family Health Strategy, aimed to make a political evaluation of the policy in order to develop an analysis of the FHS making process, considering its theoretical structure, the arguments of political, economic, social and cultural order that it claimed, seeking to make a mutual comparison between the design of this policy and the general principles and objectives envisaged in the regulations that establish the health policy in Brazil, particularly the basic attention policy proposed in the management model of the Unified Health System (SUS). Therefore, drew up a historical trajectory of this policy, in which could be observed a transition from the sanitarian, campaigner and hygienist model for the universal health care model envisaged by Unified Health System, influenced by the proposals of the Sanitary Reform. It is estimated, from this historical overview, the ethical-political framework considered by the makers of the Family Health, and the consistency and relevance of the proposal in relation to engineering drawn by the developers.Item GÊNERO, TRÁFICO SEXUAL DE MULHERES E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS: uma análise da experiência da Secretaria de Políticas para as Mulheres da Presidência da República (SPM/PR)(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2017-03-22) LIMA, Thiago Pereira; ROCHA, Lourdes de Maria Leitão Nunes; 216594863-00; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7295015708722425The women‘s sexual traffic presents as one practice that occurs in several countries, in different scales and dynamics. The debate about public policies of traffic‘s fighting emerge in the end of 20‘s century, with the Additional Protocol to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime related to the prevention, repression and punishment of Trafficking Persons, in special Women and Children - the Palermo Protocol (2000). Brazil has been influenced by the Palermo Protocol and builds the National Policy in Fighting the Traffic of People (2006), the 1st National Plan in Fighting the Traffic of People (2008) and the 2nd National Plan in Fighting the Traffic of People (2013). The thesis argues the assumptions that demonstrates the national and supranational legal devices, as well as the Brazilian public policies in fighting the women‘s sexual traffic, taking into account as the perspective of gender that has been built on debate. Therefore, taking as reference, the international documents that Brazil was signatory over 20‘s century, the Palermo Protocol (2000), the Brazilian policies developed in the first decade of 21‘s century, from the National Policy in Fighting the Traffic of People, the 1st National Plan in Fighting the Traffic of People and the 2nd National Plan in Fighting the Traffic of People, as well as interviews with official policies as the Women‘s Secretariat of Policies (SPM/PR) and Ministry of Justice (MJ) and the Human Rights Secretariat (SEDH). I analyze the speech and actions developed by the Women‘s Secretariat of Policies of the Presidency of the Republic (SPM/PR), created in 2003, on the scope of Federal Government to develop state‘s policies to reach the fightning related to the violence against women. According with the empirical datas and in a theoretical perspective in gender studies, I argue that public policies presents a gender perspective, limited to women and not in a relational perspective; there is a speech and generalized actions that don‘t meet the complex field of gender, according it shows the official reports and the interviews made with the competent bodies. The speech and the actions in fighting the women‘s sexual traffic reproduces the international line and considering the traffic inside the actions in fighting the violence against women. The public policy creates movements of essentials, producing ambiguous effects, due to the same time, it meets the needs of vulnerable segments, as women, and in the other side, it doesn‘t meets the plurality. Therefore, a methodological perspective focused on historical-dialectical materialism was used, which, by associating diachronic analysis (of genesis and development) with a synchronic analysis (of structure and function in the current organization), allows us to assess the complete richness of social relations – which consists of going beyond the immediate appearance, seeking to reach the perception of the essence of the investigated object through analytical procedures. With this, it was intended to apprehend the mechanisms that lead to the historical and continuous exclusion of women and blacks in the Brazilian labor market. The research consisted of a bibliographic and documental survey and field research. The following categories were discussed: Work, Sexual Division of Labor, Structural Racism, Gender, Race, Class and Intersectionality, as well as the concepts of Diversity Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. In the empirical research, it was verified how the organizations from Maranhão that claim to be socially responsible are promoting equality among their staff, analyzing the implementation (or not) of internal D&I actions. The first stage of the field research collected internal data on the gender and race/color characteristics of employees at their respective hierarchical levels. After that, semi-structured interviews were carried out with the managers responsible for Human Resources (HR) of the selected organizations in order to obtain information on the implementation of internal policies or affirmative actions to promote the inclusion of women and black people. Anchored in all the information collected, it was possible to verify that companies from Maranhão need to advance a lot in relation to the development of internal policies/actions to promote D&I and combat gender and racial inequalities in the labor market. The survey results showed that companies from the private sector, and even from the public sector, present in Maranhão are very late (neglect) in the implementation of actions to include these groups, especially in racial equality policies, therefore, inequalities are continuous. for women and especially for the black population in the local market. For many organizations, this type of policy remains just a discourse and not a practice.Item Luz, câmera, som: uma análise da produção de vídeos musicais na música independente de São Luís – MA entre 2012 e 2018.(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2019-07-31) BATISTA, Rafael Figueiredo da Silva; FREITAS, Flávio Luiz de Castro; 624545013-68; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2128304906555701; ZORZAL, Ricieri Carlini; 075088157-77; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3267683322470733; ZORZAL, Ricieri Carlini; 075088157-77; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3267683322470733; FREITAS, Flávio Luiz de Castro; 624545013-68; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2128304906555701; RODRIGUES, Sannya Fernanda Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5638131664583072; COSTA, Marcio Leonardo Monteiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9572305712149159This study intends to analyze music video production related to the independent music scenario in São Luís – MA over the years 2012 to 2018. Therefore, we engaged the development of a music video list from what was produced throughout those years to verify if its growth is related to the technologicals updates which we understand has favored access to the means of production and distribution of cultural products. The study is based on the theoretical approach of cultural materialism by Raymond Williams (1960, 1979, 2001, 2011) to see the audiovisual production as a cultural product and as a production process of that kind of product. Looking for realize that production as a consequence of changes in the social, cultural and economic structure that refers to the practices of independent music, we have call upon the idea of structure of feeling – from cultural materialism thesis – to understand those transformations. We turn to a brief history of the production of music videos that migrated from television to virtual platforms, especially YouTube. In order to understand the articulations in the virtual space, we address the comprehension of the media bios proposed by Sodré (2012) questioning democratization of the cultural goods. The social, cultural and economic transformations come from technological advances and the democratization of the means of production and distribution of cultural goods; these "new combinations" unbalance the economic logic of supply and demand. Thereby, it is necessary to understand the agents of culture - artists, musicians and audiovisual producers - as cultural entrepreneurs, managers of their own careers, perceiving art as business. Based on the discussion of cultural materialism and cultural entrepreneurship, we intend to base the analysis of the data obtained from the crossing of records of the festivals Guarnicê (1989-2011, 2019) and Maranhão na Tela (2017, 2018), the Prêmio Universidade (2010-2016) with research on YouTube from the records obtained, in order to evaluate the growth and relevance of the production of musical videos in the local scenario.Item A MATERNIDADE NO SISTEMA PENAL BRASILEIRO: uma análise dos referenciais jurídico-políticos e dos desafios do Projeto Mulheres Livres(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2022-07-21) BONGO, Dominick Luzolo Veloso; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; SOUSA, Mônica Teresa Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2651036312847509; SOUSA, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954This Dissertation has as its main theme the maternity in the Brazilian penal system, having as an empirical parameter the Free Women Project (Projeto Mulheres Livres), which was created in 2017 by the National Penitentiary Department-DEPEN (Departamento Penitenciário Nacional), and aimed to promote policies that cover women deprived of liberty who are pregnant, or who are mothers of children in early childhood age, to mitigate the social impacts resulting from incarceration, prioritizing the well-being of the child. Its general objective is to analyze the legal and political foundations in the formulation of the “Free Women” Project as a public policy aimed at reducing the vulnerability of families who have mothers deprived of their liberty, considering: the socio-historical context of the process of formulating the “Free Women Project.”; the legal and political references that supported the formulation of the policy, and finally, to evaluate the elements that constitute the policy, and the challenges to implement them. With a qualitative approach, it was used a bibliographic and documentary research, as well as secondary data analysis. Based on Bourdieu's reflexive sociology, in which it is understood that it is necessary to distinguish rigidity from scientific rigor, seeking to use the various methodological resources available in the various related contexts, and also in the analysis of discourse supported by Foucaultian literature, it is considered that the public policies aimed at maternity in the penal system are formulated in the context of different political and legal grounds and interests. As a result, it is observed that the absence of systematization of data from the beneficiary public makes it difficult to assess the real conditions of maternity in the criminal system, thus preventing the referral to social protection services and the labor market, goals set by the Project for social reintegration based on the best interests of the child and the effectiveness of the policy.Item O Ministério Público na atuação sociomediadora do direito à saúde: participação no processo de políticas públicas(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2019-02-26) VASCONCELOS, Roberta Silva; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; 336741753-04; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; GONÇALVES, Cláudia Maria da Costa; 336741753-04; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227764264362441; FREITAS, Ana Teresa Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3166869086259841; SOUSA, Salviana de Maria Pastor Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8050800993055954This study deals with the performance of the Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the implementation of the right to health, with emphasis on the sociomediary performance, understood as the one that comes before judicialisation.
