These conceptions are matched to different profiles, patterns of academic careers and specializations research topics. The objective is to understand the social process of elaboration of legal doctrine (in which universities are qualified as a privileged place of production), and the current stage of professionalization of Law tutoring (since this has implications in the occupied positions and in the positions-taken by legal agents). To this end, databases were built and analyzed with information about the school path (institutions attended, year and courses taken), production (books, chapters, articles, papers at events, etc.) and university, political and cultural registrations of teachers. Afterwards, we did semi-structured interviews with representative cases of the singularities and recurrences observed, aiming to apprehend the social characteristics, professional investments and the diverse insertions behind the conceptions of law that circulate throughout the state.Item DAS TREVAS À LUZ : os Canela a caminho do desenvolvimento sustentável(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2007-03-13) GOMES, Francisco Ernesto Basílio; COELHO, Elizabeth Maria Beserra; CPF:09895434120; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5976340283035276This dissertation analyses the Project of Combat to the Rural Poorness executed by the government of Maranhão State, in the period between 1998 and 2004, and its application to the indigenous people. The theoretical object to that dissertation is the comprehension of the relation between the government of Maranhão State and indigenous people. It was made the map of the conceptions of de poorness from the project trying to identify in what measure those conceptions contemplate the cultural diverseness of indigenous people. It is also analysed the relation between the perspective of the combat to the poorness associate to the tenable development used in the en forcement of the PCPR Ma. The theoretical mention of the research is inspired in the perspective of the postcolonial studies developed by cry authors like: Escobar (1996) Mignglo (2003) and Lander (2005). I tried to understand the poorness like representation according to Sousa s approach (2001). It also realized a fieldwork in the indigenous village from Escavaldo, from indigenous people Ramkokamekra/ Canela objecting to understand as it has related to the electrical energy, result of the PCPR Ma. Specifically trying to understand the cause of the choice in electrical energy as communal subproject of the combat to the poorness.Item Entre histórias e memórias: produções de gênero em narrativas de mulheres residentes no Abrigo São Vicente de Paulo(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2018-08-29) ALVES, Carla Maria Lobato; SOUSA, Sandra Maria Nascimento; 011992263-00; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7413827589603410; SOUSA, Sandra Maria Nascimento; 011992263-00; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7413827589603410; PITANGA, Carolina Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0264818776105852; SAMPAIO, Juciana de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0822226441285255; ALCÂNTARA JÚNIOR, José Odval; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1029788346113142; FEITOSA, Márcia Manir Miguel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0938601542329006This study analyzes the experiences of six (06) women, aged 69 to 83 years old, who live in the Abrigo São Vicente de Paulo (ASVP), a Long Stay Institution for the Elderly (ILPI) individual and flanked houses, in the model of a "village", located in João Paulo, popular neighborhood located in the vicinity of the city center of São Luís, Maranhão. Through the theoricomethodological articulation between Memory and Life Stories, I analyze how processes of aging and aging combine especially for "aging women" who live in a shelter and whose experiences are related to poverty or social vulnerability, and in general, receive little attention from the media, civil society and the public and private spheres in Brazil. In this way, Cristina, Teodora, Nara, Vera, Josefa and Celeste register places, information, events and people with whom they lived. The intersections of social class, naturalness, regionality, territoriality, race, ethnicity, gender, generation and so on. the discursive and performative production of the genre was constructed, reiterated and / or destabilized, along the passage of time, in the "entrance in the village", in the experiences of work, in the studies and relationships, friendship and family relationships, relationships, relationships and / or other forms of conjugality, as well as situations involving conflicts, challenges, expectations, frustrations and aspirations that have been experienced during the course of their lives. In this sense, the narratives highlight experiences relevant to the discursive and performative production of the genre and also reveal experiences that are usually not evidenced and do not fit into the images constructed by scientific and institutional discourses about "successful aging" (DEBERT, 2004). They show, above all, that the aging process is distinct and related to different socio-cultural contexts, socioeconomic groups, heterogeneous experiences and distinct social markers of difference such as social class, race, ethnicity, gender, generation, regionality, territoriality, nationality, etc.Item Identidade nacional e literatura indianista: discursos para a construção de uma identidade nacional brasileira em Gonçalves Dias(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2020-08-31) AZEVEDO, Philipe Luiz Trindade de; COELHO, Elizabeth Maria Beserra; 098954341-20; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5976340283035276; COELHO, Elizabeth Maria Beserra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5976340283035276; FOLHES, Rodrigo Theophilo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9262170582606653; ARAÚJO, Daisy Damasceno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9925770961288238; FARIA, Regina Helena Martins de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4406835498577776; CORREA, Kátia Núbia Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9431672106741102Literature in the 19th century was used as a strategy for building a national identification. Indianist literature sought to meet the interest of homogenizing a heterogeneous population. The present thesis, taking Indianist literature as an empirical field of study, analyzes the discourse present in the work of Gonçalves Dias focused on the construction of a national identity. In this sense, it seeks to correlate the life trajectory of Gonçalves Dias to the themes addressed by his oeuvre in prose and poetry, in order to understand his perspectives regarding the construction of the Indian as an element of national identification. It starts from the assumption, based on Bourdieu (2008), that language is not just a communication system, but the use of language refers to the establishment of a power dynamic necessary for the establishment of norms, customs, and institutions. In this sense, supported by Anderson (2008) and Guibernau (1997), he considers that the strengthening of a national identity requires not only political interventions, but a possible imposition by the state power, and it is also important to note that the sentimental appeal is also necessary for the identification between a people and their nation. These identifications could be constructed in different ways, for example, through the improvement of the educational system, the circulation of journals in vernacular languages, the institution of ephemeris, etc. The present thesis works from the perspective of building nationality through literature.Item Morrer nas Morrarias: autonomia, dignidade e formas de solidariedade nas situações de morte no Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2021-08-13) SILVA, Maristhela Rodrigues da; SOUZA FILHO, Benedito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6251397650528980; SOUZA FILHO, Benedito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6251397650528980; FERNANDES, Annelise Caetano Fraga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3345036512295680; SOGBOSSI, Hippolyte Brice; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5695892590451822; NEVES, Ednalva Maciel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7766410071856075; AHRLET, Martina; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0255848252162200The events associated with situations of death can be understood as an expression of autonomy, dignity and forms of solidarity between the families that make up the traditional communities of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). Even before the creation of this entire protection conservation unit, many families already live in the Park, having ways of life based on specific forms of interaction with the biophysical environment. The autonomy of families in these traditional communities and their sociocultural particularities is not expressed only through traditionally carried out activities, such as agriculture, fishing, animal breeding and craft production, but also through associative forms. Among the associative forms of these traditional communities, we highlight the Funerary Associations, created to respond to material and ceremonial needs related to situations of death. Funeral Associations represent an organizational model characterized by the associative participation of family members from different traditional communities in the PNLM. In situations of death, each member contributes a small amount of money and the amount collected by the Associations allows the creation of a fund to cover all the items and expenses indispensable to the funeral rituals of the mourning Family. Taking the functioning of these Funeral Associations as a reference, the thesis aims to understand the foundations of the autonomy of families to deal with situations of death based on the activation of these networks of associates. These initiatives are also interpreted at work as strategies to break, on the one hand, with the forms of welfare dependence on local power and, on the other, to ensure autonomy to respond to material, symbolic, cultural and ceremonial demands related to death situations. Having many other types of associations (religious, residents, mothers clubs), the one that seems to work most effectively is precisely the one that deals with demands related to the end of life, which proposes to solve the needs of related families in cases of death. By dedicating attention to the functioning of Funeral Associations in meeting the demands of families, we can understand not only the ceremonial aspects in relation to situations of death, but also the forms of solidarity and autonomy of families and the moral, economic, legal and symbolic principles that such situations behave.Item Olhares cruzados e experiências compartilhadas de negros (as) africanos (as) e brasileiros (as) na cidade de São Luís/Maranhão(Universidade Federal do Maranhão, 2019-07-26) MIRANDA, Osmilde Augusto; SILVA, Carlos Benedito Rodrigues da; 720758998-00; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6665907175030944; SILVA, Carlos Benedito Rodrigues da; 720758998-00; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6665907175030944; PIRES, Álvaro Roberto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1316023086816223; SILVA, Acildo Leite da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8319209685636448This research aims to understand the processes of construction of social identities and representations of African and Brazilian blacks in the city of São Luís do Maranhão. From a theoretical-methodological perspective focused on the epistemological discussion of black knowledge and recognition, its historicity in Brazilian society and its social actions as part of a racialized country. The method of research and analysis used was the life histories or narratives of these subjects. I analyze six (6) specific cases of blacks living in São Luís, three of them from African countries (Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and Nigeria) and three other Brazilians. I believe that the construction of identities of Africans and Brazilians in São Luís do Maranhão is still related or conditioned to the color of the skin, crossing the economic, political, social and cultural spheres.
