The present work is a research applied to the field of Communication. It sought to understand the possibilities of using a printed collection on social networks, based on the redefinition of this memory, and to promote its insertion in the routine of digital journalistic production. Supported by the methodology of Cultural History, a bibliographic survey was carried out to review the categories of analysis: digital journalism, memory and nostalgia. For practical purposes, the study uses the Brazilian edition of the PLAYBOY magazine, as it understands that there is a recurring demand for this product, extinct in 2017, which is maintained through its memories, through the consumers themselves on the Internet. In this way, after a documentary survey, we traced the editorial profile of the magazine and its updates; and, through a qualitative/quantitative research, we understand how this memory is being worked on digital social networks through their readers and collectors. As a result of this study, we created a communication protocol to transform a printed collection into digital memory as content on the Internet, to be applied by any publication in order to create new forms of consumption for its product/brand, from another perspective of production and circulation . Based on this product, we prepared publications/prototypes, which were tested and analyzed on the social network Instagram, based on the profile Inside Playboy Brasil. This research is based on discussions on digital journalism, as well as on aspects involving memory and nostalgia.
